Hong Kong Challenge Round the world race 1996/97

As a 19-years old girl I have launched myself with the first Austrian Whitbread Challenge (AWC) on a race around the world, being one of the Watch leaders and helm on a 50-feet boat. In 11 months from October 1996 to September 1997 I have circumnavigated the world in 33.000 miles, crossing the Panama channel. I am the first ever Croat to circumnavigate the world in a race so far.
